Head Theatre Director

Scott is a native west Texan. He attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and graduated with a BA in Dramatic Literature and Vocal Performance. Scott spent his early years after college in a classroom teaching theatre and public speaking before pursuing a career in professional theatre.

Scott is active in his community as a director, designer and actor. Directing credits include In the Heights, Godspell, Little Shop of Horrors, Meet Me in St. Louis, Man of La Mancha, Tuesdays with Morrie and others. He has performed on stages across the nation with some of his favorite roles being Curly in Oklahoma!, Shrek in Shrek the Musical, Banquo in MacBeth, The Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance and Fredrik in A Little Night Music.

Scott is excited to work with the students, staff and parents of Permian High School and has great expectations of all we can accomplish together!

Technical Theatre Director

Rey Montoya has been involved with theatre for 14 years. He graduated from West Texas A&M University with a degree in Technical Theatre & Design.

He has spent time as an educator and working professionally in theatre, including at the Lake Dillon Theatre Co, Austin City Limits Music Festival, South by Southwest, ZACH Theatre, Maple Rep Theatre and IATSE 205 & Actor’s Equity.
